I’m half way through FFIV now, just landed in the underworld. I have to say I am enjoying this more than FFVI. That’s not a knock on six, it’s more of a huge praise for IV. The game has really resonated with me for various reasons
[spoiler]I won’t go too far into it, but Cecil’s transformation from dark knight to paladin and his regret over his past is speaking to me in quite a unique way at the moment for various reasons. I am going through a type of transition myself in which I’m trying to shed guilt about past actions and be a better person. It’s a really strong hook for me. [/spoiler]
Outside of this I’m just enjoying the battles a bit more than VI. I feel as if they are a bit more challenging, but maybe that’s because I’ve grinded less.
